Hackers Steal 32 NFTs in New Compromise of Bored Ape Discord Server

The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) Discord server has been compromised again, resulting in the theft of valuable NFTs. According to an investigation led by NFT analyst and blockchain detective OKHotshot, scammers hacked into the Discord account of the BAYC’s community and social channels. This latest attack underscores the ongoing security challenges facing the NFT space.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) Discord server was hacked on Saturday. Blockchain analytics firm Peckshield revealed that the hackers stole 32 NFTs. While earlier reports suggested higher amounts, Peckshield\'s analysis provides a more accurate figure.

Earlier this year, a hacker stole about 200 ETH, or $360,000, worth of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTS. Yuga Labs, creator of leading NFTs such as the Bored Apes, confirmed: "Our Discord servers were briefly exploited today." This recent incident highlights a recurring vulnerability.

Blockchain security firm, Peckshield, has confirmed that the Discord server of Bored Ape was compromised earlier today by malicious players. Hackers have stolen cryptocurrency and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) after compromising a Discord server run by Yuga Labs.
