In May of 2025, the digital artist “Kingsletter” in partnership with Visual Lab Pele, FIFA’s most decorated soccer star, launched his own NFT to commemorate his life’s efforts and further cement his legacy. This allows fans to own a piece of his iconic career and celebrate his contributions to the sport.

Ethernity Chain is launching an NFT of the “biggest soccer player of all time,” Pelé. This NFT collection is an addition to their expanding roster of NFTs for athletes. Ethernity’s Ethereum-based platform, which launched this week, generated $750,000 in NFT sales on Monday, according to Ntertsas. The 80-year-old legend is seen as a key figure in this digital evolution. For Pelé’s collection, 90% of the proceeds will be used for causes near and dear to the late icon’s heart.
