A day before, the cryptocurrency tracking tool discovered three sizable transfers of XRP from wallets it has flagged as “unknown” recently. The combined value of these three transfers is substantial.
The Numbers: While some reports initially cited figures around 197.8 million XRP ($114.1 million), the total amount moved by these two anonymous wallets has now been confirmed to be 218 million XRP (approximately $81 million). Another on-chain data provider Whale Alert reported millions of XRP tokens recently moved by some crypto whales.
Collectively, Whale Alert documented the transfer of 196,291,480 XRP, valued at $99.6 million, from exchanges to anonymous wallets in the last 24 hours. These transactions involved Blockchain platform Whale Alert, which reveals various nuances of large transactions with the crypto community on a regular basis, has spread the word about two wallets. According to the platform, these wallets are owned by two different exchanges, Bittrex and BitGo exchanges. Further details indicated that aside from the four transactions moving nearly half a million US dollars worth of XRP, there were more.
